I actually think the NVS topic on the forum wasn't popular because a respected veteran was unfairly penalized for some minor issue. After that incident, no one posted there anymore.

I received a lot of hate and misunderstanding for my NVS posts from people who suffer from the "duckling syndrome," don't understand the game's lore, and obsess over are nostalgic for Heroes of Might and Magic III, claiming that everything should be like in their favorite game. No, it shouldn't. As a result, people write all sorts of nonsense, which is why they received my reaction. So, criticizing isn't accepted, but writing nonsense and being disrespectful to a large project is. This smells like double standards, I think.

And I'm not sure that even after the release of the update for my project, I'll want to open a topic about my mod here again.
