The guidebook, gourmand's diary, and some other items now only hold RP value.

Diaries should at least keep the remaining ("novice") bonuses. Otherwise, the whole point of these restaurants, libraries, and buying any "printed goods" in general disappears. And the guidebook is unclear too: if it's not needed, where will the records of locations known only to the character be now?

Erika's amusing entries level up her diary and grant 100 XP and 1 point of intelligence.

Phew! I can burn the diary now — Insho's future husband definitely won't find out anything 😏

I don't know about "Insho's future husband," but "amusing entries from Erika" are almost certainly not going to happen... :(
