Tried removing everything I had downloaded before - didn't help, I'll reinstall if I can't get through it this way) this time I focused on one Freyda, killed the green one in the stronghold without losses, only lost the elves, and screw them, I use them as targets for enemy shooters, works like a charm) Took out the redhead with Freyda too in the stronghold, there were 55 paladins, 9 left) and 100 crossbowmen left. Didn't manage to gather enough angels. Lost everything else, didn't even buy the Griffin building. Honestly, he could have been taken down with Arantir with minimal losses, but I couldn't make it back in time turn-wise, I was using him to take territory before the external garrisons, cleared the whole center, but overall I have a slightly earlier save, if I can't beat the purple one, I'll go back. Not working out with the purple one yet) the hero moves way too often, considering I have Expert Arcane Intellect, and he moves like 3-4 times, while I move twice (the hero I mean). And with the buffed luck they're really something, this time I'm having no luck with artifacts at all. Last time I had the Necromancer's Cloak and their staff too, a ring for -2 luck, but now just +HP and magic resistance on the map)) built catapults by the way. All heroes show medium difficulty, but it's not working out with Arantir yet, and I don't think Freyda will do it either, only if I manage to take down the ballista on the first turn, and that's not guaranteed. The ghosts apparently forgot how to dodge by the way 😂 they dodge 20% of the time in battle with him) the vampire effect doesn't even help them survive. Using Banishment of course) looks like I'll go back to the old save, by that time I'll have 100 paladins, which I think might help take him down, since right now I have 45. Without losses and with the next growth it'll be exactly 100. And who comes after the purple one?)
Added after 11 minutes Well overall I understand I'm close to the finale. Killed the purple one, brown one, and red one. Stopped there for now. Killed them all with Arantir, the first two with 120-40 ghosts + assorted neutrals like trappers, gargoyles, orcs, etc., just used them as meat. Killed everyone with the phoenix and dragon. Killed the red one with obsidian golems and also some various units. Cast Confusion, then through Berserk killed all the elementals, and took down the phoenix with the phoenix and dragon) and Freyda with the main army probably won't even be needed, Arantir's dragon and the phoenix under the vampire effect turned out to be absolute imba, and the dragon has it built-in, and it's not mentioned in the description. You can basically take down everyone without an army at all. I hadn't used the dragon before and summoned it completely by accident, because in the previous campaign the dragon was weak and I rarely used it, but here it turned out to be imba. The funniest part is that Freyda wouldn't have killed any of them with her army, maybe she could have handled the brown one, and that's it. 160 paladins, 500 crossbowmen, 25 angels, 100 elves, and the rest don't matter. Freyda is level 29, Arantir is 31. I think I'll take down the rest with Arantir)) and what's the dungeon for in this campaign? I kept thinking there's a Town Portal there with the ability to go up to the surface, but as it turned out there isn't, I cleared the whole dungeon except for 4 stacks, level 26, army is already big, just standing AFK)) or will it fight in the finale?)
the second red one came and the game hit a dead end. Apparently the map works for me not as the author intended, the second red one is impassable. 16-20 initiative on units, the spirit gets buffed every turn, and it teleports half the army to itself and shoots it instantly. With Freyda there's absolutely zero chance, even 200 horses fall from two hits with 21 defense and the defense skill. There are no initiative artifacts on the map, nor the staff of the undead, no morale either. Idk, this is impossible to get through. Only Arantir has a chance, and even he can't handle such buffed morale and luck. And Zehir doesn't work for me) On turn 4 I think Arantir would have a chance, when I spread all the debuffs and summon the dragon with the phoenix, but he doesn't survive that long. Even for the experiment I decided to cheat him an undead army and it only gave 1 extra turn))) maybe I'll come back to the map on a reinstalled game sometime, overall I liked it, but mine is broken) attaching the last save before the attack.
