Sacred Haven of Debauchery

Everyone knows and understands Counter-Strike, so that’s what we played. If you had more knowledgeable friends, you could play something else. My brother used to work at a club, and they often played Diablo 2, some Warcraft (maybe it was Dota 1?), and Cossacks there. I also played all of those games once, but I didn’t get to play Alien vs. Predator. Then Ultima came out, but it’s not certain that anyone other than my brother played it. And yes, the main problem with single-player games was that you weren’t the only one using the computer, and by the time you came back to the club, your save could have been overwritten. That’s why my brother and his friends copied their Diablo characters to a flash drive and took them home. The rest could only be pitied and advised to play the same strategy games or something else. And it was good if the game had several save slots, like in GTA 3, which I was trying to play through at the club. Maybe I also saved over other people’s saves, although I already understood the implications of this and tried not to do it.
