Sacred Haven of Debauchery

Actually, these are all the consoles I had; after that, I switched to playing on a computer. The guys from the neighboring building had computers a little earlier, so I would sometimes go to their place. Before that, we would go to computer clubs together, paying 100 rubles per hour. They had games like Serious Sam, Max Payne, Quake, and Counter-Strike, but we mostly played GTA Vice City because we had a printed sheet of paper with cheat codes. We could conjure up weapons and cars and go cause mayhem.

Computer clubs were another wonder of childhood for the average kid in the 2000s, which I didn't experience. In the end, it's just stupid to pay 100 rubles per hour when you have a whole bunch of games at home (2/3 of which I don't even know what they are, because I didn't even open or install them). But everything listed above was definitely there; I even played the third Quake myself. But, if you believe my husband and some other acquaintances, there was something special about these clubs that I will never understand.

I also remember that in the year it was released, my dad brought home a Morrowind disc and started playing it actively, and I somehow declared that it was some kind of ugly game. I'm a little embarrassed about that now, even after all these years.

My husband just said that the computer club cost 15 rubles per hour for a computer and 5 rubles for a PlayStation. That's quite a markup from what you paid, Frag.
