There are many memes about how difficult and impossible Frogger is.

That's true, there are two parts, and one is significantly easier (in comparison). But the advantage of these games is that they have normal controls and understandable mechanics. There are games that are difficult precisely because of their flaws, etc., but they are less well-known.

If we start writing about that, then we'll have to write about the other 9998 games on that cartridge. It's a pity that there usually weren't even any single-screen arcades or puzzles. And I only played the first Mario, which was on those cartridges, but it turns out there were two more parts, and they were quite good. As for me, I'm familiar with all these games, but I didn't get to play them all. I didn't have DuckTales, but for some, it's a childhood game and a classic. But I played other Disney games (although some turned out to be ports from Sega), and The Little Mermaid can be completed in 20 minutes. I also played Felix, a fairly easy and enjoyable game. I don't remember Robocop, my neighbor had Power Blade, as well as Terminator. Tiny Toon is memorable, and there were many ninja games (not just Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). I'd also like to mention Little Nemo: The Dream Master and Solomon's Key. But I definitely preferred beat 'em ups, like Double Dragon (the second one was, in my opinion, the best of the three) and especially Mighty Final Fight, which is really great. I played them a lot. And of course, my favorite, Bucky O'Hare, which was a pirated version, and that's why you died with the first hit. Perhaps this game developed my patience for difficulties in games.

Contra

Which console is this from? There are three versions on Dendy, one regular, then Super and Force. I played all of them, but I liked the last one the most, despite the 10fps, which I only realized relatively recently. And of course, I played the Sega version of Contra, which is probably the best. One of the versions also has only one hit point, by the way, not three. I have such a cartridge at home right now, maybe my neighbor had this version when I was a kid.

Yoshi's Island

This one is unfamiliar.

Probably Yoshi's Island. I didn't play it either.

And I didn't even know that I was already almost at the end in Battle Toads.

It's interesting how you got through the ice level, the snake, and especially the underwater level and the tower at the end
