The Professor – the originator of classic fantasy – didn't have half-naked elves running around, but heroes would overcome any obstacles and fight through any enemies for the sake of Love – even stealing Silmarils from Melkor himself! And even when Luthien ran around naked, it wasn't because she was a nudist or obsessed, but out of desperation – her father took away her clothes so she wouldn't leave the house!
