Thanks for the information, I'll keep it in mind.
Overall, the labyrinth is a tedious but not mandatory part; you can jump into the portal. But there, your stats will be reduced to a minimum. There were too many stats left after the trap.
Did you manage to complete the quest to kill the sentinels on the first try?
If there were no phoenixes in the battle with the demon, how much more difficult would it be?
With the sentinels, to be honest, it wasn't initially clear what to do, but during one of the dialogues in the guild, everything became clear. I chose assassins as the killers, and they managed to do it on the first try.
Without phoenixes, the difficulty of the final battle would depend heavily on how much of the army you managed to save after the warlords. With a full set of orcish units, I think it would be possible to win. I clearly lost to Laslo in the battle with the orcs; without phoenixes, I probably wouldn't have made it. After all, the ban on almost all control spells, including the hive, severely limits the range of possibilities in battles with such large armies.
Speaking of stat resets. After transitioning to the third stage and skipping a turn, the stats are as follows; I think it's still too much.
