I tried starting as a Paladin in Diablo 2. He's actually an interesting class, with a lot of abilities.

I tried playing him once, but I didn't enjoy it. Barbarian and Sorceress were more interesting fighters. As I understand it, in Diablo, the Paladin is needed for cooperative play, because his auras spread to the whole party.
