Assembled artifacts in Heroes of Might and Magic V.

Some of the properties in the dragon set aren't working for me. It says that after a certain number of items are collected, you get +5 to defense and attack, and 20% to health. But I'm not actually getting those bonuses.
Is my version of the game bugged, or are the artifacts just bad? ;)
