Although, if Armageddon really appears in the Conflux, it will be difficult for the Castle to compete with such a situation... :)

If we're talking about SoD, then Armageddon cannot be learned (it only appears in the Dungeon and Inferno).
Or, you can place the Grail in the Conflux :)

In general, I agree with the argument that the Academy strengthens the Conflux.
The ability to learn what you need often decides the outcome. For example, if you get a book, you learn it and start leveling up. At level twenty, they might not give you what you need, or they might give it to you too late.
