Before the upcoming night, Ushumgall decides to check on the Pharisian trio and share a fresh newspaper with them.

After discussing basic things with the guys, Ushumgall learns that Sheila and Illiman decided to follow the example of Honor and, like him, enrolled "outside the guild," receiving the long-awaited 1k reputation. Due to the size of Sidonia's portrait, Illiman had to admit to buying it.
- "Well, you're something else," Sheila commented, "to spend your entire adult life fund on such nonsense..."
After reading the newspaper, Ushumgall became a little worried.
- "It could happen to us too... This undead..."
