06 - Forever Is A Charm — I chose this because I genuinely find Princess Chelsea's vocal abilities to be worthy and charming. No pretension, no vocal tricks, just a sweet, gentle, and feminine performer. And in collaborations with Jonathan Bree, starting with the infamous cigarette duet and ending with "until we're done," where she's just on backing vocals, it's a solid 10 out of 10.
13. 願いの灯 (10th Anniversary Re-Arrange) — 4, in 2009-2010, this "cat girl" probably would have gotten a 7-8 from me, but now it's almost 2025, and it's just boring. A bowl of rice from the artist.
Melnica - Kaschei — 4, I've never been a fan of Helavisa and haven't understood the universal love for her. No, I acknowledge that she's a professional, respected, and all that, but it's just not to my taste. Also boring.
Aigel - Tatarin — 1, I understand that this song is about Arandor. But despite all my love and respect for him, my ears started bleeding. It felt like I was in hell for almost 3 minutes.
Nightmare Air - Way We Fall — 5, nothing special, listenable in the background. The girl even seems to be trying.
ずっと真夜中でいいのに。『TAIDADA』MV (ZUTOMAYO - TAIDADA)【ダンダダン MAD】 — 6, it's like I came to a ramen shop to have another bowl of chicken miso soup and shrimp onigiri while listening to anime openings. Two bowls of rice from this "cat girl."
Shocking Blue - Long And Lonesome Road — 8, Nebo played his trump card and chose a respected lady. I'll add a point for a breath of fresh air compared to the rest. I slightly prefer Jefferson Airplane in a similar style. At one point, I even thought it was all the same band.
Standing by the ocean - Yona — 4, not great, but not terrible either. I know that this style of performance appeals to many, but to me, it's boring and uninteresting.
Cyberpunk - I Really Want To Stay At Your House — 2, it didn't appeal to me at all. First, she wails on such high notes that it became physically painful, and then the awful robotic singing started. And it only got worse. I guess I'm too old for this kind of ultramodern music. I want to give it a 1, but the song about Arandor still exists.
Irene Cara - Fame — 5, just okay and nostalgic. The guitar and the music itself, without vocals, would be perfect as an opening for some old anime.
Mazzy Star - Fade Into You — 4, melancholy mournful wailing with a guitar. Some people like it, but not me.
The conclusion is simple: singing 3D girls are not needed.
