The idea is certainly good, even excellent. I would be all for it...but it's no secret that the geography of our portal is quite extensive and is measured not only in cities, but also in countries. Under these conditions, it will simply be impossible for everyone to get together...
There is another option – local gatherings. That is, everyone who can get together in a particular city. So, Muscovites in Moscow, Petersburgers in St. Petersburg, Khabarovsk residents in Khabarovsk, Odessa residents in Odessa, and so on. To meet, have fun, and just chat.....However, in this case, too, not everything is smooth; there will be people who live in city N, but there is no one else from that city. So they will be left out...unfortunately..

And what if we somehow decorate the forum? I know there have already been suggestions. I was browsing the internet and saw on some forums, for example, the effect of falling snow on the pages...and so on. Again, some kind of New Year's skin...Avatars too:smile54: However, while searching for them on the internet, I found that, unfortunately, there isn't much choice. Either choose from what is available or edit your own..
By the way, even serious people can immerse themselves in childhood during the holidays and put on a New Year's avatar; I'm sure they won't lose anything from it, but they will gain a festive mood :) After all, the New Year is a holiday of miracles, magic, when we all expect something magical, the fulfillment of wishes! And we believe that everything will come true...it's an immersion in carefree and happy childhood days!
