This would bankrupt the entire planet just to provide for one country. Or taking away everyone's personal cars and putting them in Tesla buses – that wouldn't be an improvement either, and it's also unrealistic. And in any case, there will be bugs and unforeseen weather situations that won't reduce road fatalities to zero.

What about robot loaders? What about robot cleaners? What about robot builders?

But what's the point of depriving people of jobs? By the time they are invented, the SMO will already be over, so people will simply be marginalized into criminals due to the lack of other ways to survive.
