Well, not 10 minutes. It takes time to sort through the options, considering that they sometimes repeat, and you need to generally figure out what options are available. Then you add the nicknames for the obvious ones, and after that, you start remembering what people do in their lives or what they're interested in, and then you guess. It can easily take an hour. And if you just randomly assign them, it might take 10 minutes (part of which you'll know for sure because you communicate with them).
Even taking the two points about cats as an example. I know that Koshi and Neyra have them (although I only remembered the latter recently), but which point should I assign to whom? I have no idea.
