🍁Nine Ancient Obelisks

Most of the debris/fragments were lying in a cart that apparently belonged to a researcher already familiar to Erika; these were objects of various shapes: here is an elongated cylinder, here is a cube made of what appears to be black metal, and here are some rectangular plates. Inside the device, it was too dark to make out anything, but there was enough space for an adult to fit.

"Hmm... Nothing is clear, but it's very interesting," Erika thought.
Then she remembered that she had a rather difficult day and it was almost night.
"Well, good luck studying this strange object, and I should go home," she said to the woman and headed home.

At home, after having dinner and taking a bath, she decided to chat with the mushroom for a bit.

"So, Jack, how are you doing?" she asked the mushroom.
