When it comes to Priest, they are definitely not all the same, unlike Iron Maiden, who are relatively consistent. While Maiden's albums vary, with something like *Powerslave* being quite different from *Book of Souls*, even their albums with Blaze Bayley instead of Dickinson don't stand out too much from their overall sound – at least, from my perspective. But Priest started with something almost like rock, then moved to classic heavy metal, then they had a brutal heavy sound without Halford, then Halford returned, and shortly after they released the mind-blowing conceptual album *Nostradamus*. Now they've returned to their classic sound, but their lyrics have become more interesting and philosophical than they were in their early days. But when it comes to bands where all the songs are really the same, that's Sabaton. But they are great just the way they are, and they should stay that way.
