Town Points – Is development becoming too formulaic?

After carefully and diligently playing through Heroes 5, I personally understand the Town Portal; it doesn't have any negative impact on my gameplay, I agree with it, and I even like this building scheme. It's not surprising, as I'm studying "industrial and civil engineering."
