Is life a trial or a gift?

Life is both a gift and a trial. Gift: when you have everything – a career, family, money, health. Trial: when you have none of the material possessions, and poor health further limits your life. So, the question arises: if life is a trial, is suicide the way out, a chance to start over? BUT! This is where religion comes into play. Those who don't believe are afraid to die. And those who do believe see suicide as a grave sin, so it's better to suffer in this life than in the next. Therefore, the conclusion is: life (in a global sense) is both a gift and a trial, and that's why there are people on Earth who live and exist.
