A THREAD FOR NEWCOMERS!

...Is there anything newer or better available right now? Or is SoD a viable option, considering they blocked the Conflux town due to imbalance issues. I'd like to find more information about the Homm3HD+ mod and its plugins.

As far as I understand, the link you provided allows you to download a perfectly playable "Heroes 3" package. And the Conflux faction is also present there (at least in the Compleet version). If you download and install it, you can see for yourself, and then maybe you can tell us about it.
