The same thing happened in 1-3; they just mirrored the sprites. When they switched to 3D models, it was a different story. But why they mirror the 3D models here, I can't imagine. I've stopped trying to understand the logic of the creators; there's less logic there than in the plot of "Doctor Who," but at least "Doctor Who" is fun to watch.
