What about the third game? In my favorite fourth installment, my favorite unit is the giant praying mantis. And dragon golems too, as well as other creatures like sorceresses, gargantuars, and berserk bulls from the expansions. However, there weren't enough of these units to ruin the old-school fantasy atmosphere. But here, we have two original factions where the demons look more like Zergs or Tyranids, and the tentacled monsters resemble tentacled Xenos. And I like Xenos, I like space opera, and I'm even aware that the old Heroes setting is sci-fi. But strategy games have always been pure fantasy, even though Forge never released that game. And it was classic fantasy. But now, here's something stylish, modern, and trendy. And it's not that it's bad, but then don't call the game Heroes, don't exploit the brand, and don't desecrate the corpse of the original series.
