So, yesterday there was a stream where the developers of Olden Era were interviewed. A user, under the nickname Chipprik, compiled the most useful information about what they told us during the stream (I will just quote the sentences from Discord):
Ballistae, tents, and wagons with ammunition will not be available. There will only be a siege weapon for sieges. But they said that their functionality will be approximately the same as in the faction perks.
The Grail will be present, but the method of obtaining it will be different. They promise that it will be more fun than collecting obelisks and digging for the approximate location.
Each Faction will have 2 options for improved units, like in the 5th installment with the expansion. Neutral units will not have this.
The campaign will be non-linear, and there will be choices.
The morale system will be similar to the 3rd installment. It works slightly differently, but the general idea is the same.
Within a week, an FAQ will be published on the Steam page. Then, devlogs will start to be released.
The general perk tree will depend on the Faction chosen at the start. That is, in addition to the heroes' skills, there will also be a general tree for all your cities and heroes.
Plus, today at 21:30 Moscow time, there will be a stream from the Olden Era developers on this Twitch channel: https://www.twitch.tv/m_on_t
