In general, I don't know why, but the loading screen started working. I just had a problem where I checked absolutely everything: the image format, file properties, the path in map.xdb, etc.; but for some reason, whenever I entered the game/editor, the files with the image and the texture file were simply deleted from the map folder, which resulted in a black screen. Only the default texture file remained, and its settings were messed up. But after I clicked **close** in the editor instead of **save**, everything started working.
