No eyes are needed at all; you just take a Shakter and have him destroy everything and everyone with his troglodytes (I once observed a legendary, many-time world champion in Heroes 3, Antal, playing – he didn't build anything in his home castle except for upgrading troglodytes; he just went around and destroyed everything with them, and constantly bought heroes for scouting and chaining, and he arrived at his opponent's place with something like a level 17 creature at the beginning of the second week, with horses from two outposts and a portal built along the way from a village to a dungeon – he just took and killed him, even though the opponent had a level 6 creature with a castle).
