2nd... you can capture the very first abandoned mine, even though the conditions state that all mines are blocked. Maybe it's a feature or an oversight, but it can be used to sort and replace joining troops. Elemental Gargoyles joined me off-script, but there's no way to upgrade them into the required Obsidian Gargoyles in the Fortress. Why?
3rd... It's strange to place Witch Huts at the entrance, filling all the hero's skill slots. There's also no time to develop the Beetles because of the bot spawns, not to mention their journeys to the garrisons. I wanted to finish the third one with a (Win) because I was so annoyed by the meaningless spawns of the same type of bots (they could have come three times... no, they attacked five times!). This is a big minus.
Last one... an underdeveloped Guild and Artifact Forge... the same question, why? Is it about balance? Because there isn't any. The mage spams troops daily, right out of thin air.
Overall, this "campaign" doesn't deserve 5 stars. I put "campaign" in quotes because it's essentially 5 separate maps with the hero developing from scratch or with forcibly added skills. Overall, it's not bad in terms of combat, but it's not great either... it's chaotic and inconsistent.
