How can you not understand that people like SOD, they just like it! Including me. Stop promoting TE already.

People, in 90% of cases, have only heard about TE. At worst, they tried playing it 1-2 times against the computer. I'm sure they didn't read the manuals or descriptions about why this and that was done this way or that way.
Thus, as everywhere else, the main reason why people stick to SOD and don't want to try TE is laziness.
I'm sure that if everyone received a disc with a ready-to-play TE version and an invitation to a tournament, the number of players would immediately increase. It's unlikely that we can organize a disc, but we can organize a tournament.
And you wrote here that TE and SOD are not comparable. Can you provide an argument? (The argument "I just don't like it" is not accepted). In what specific ways is SOD better than TE?
