Heroes 6 - Discussion

Question for players of the licensed version (Steam/Ubisoft Connect) of Might and Magic Heroes VI: Shades of Darkness:
Where did the player level (player progress) and all unlocked items, heroes, bestiary, and other information from "My Dynasty" disappear to? And why do I now have to create a new hero?
