- A reference guide and manual in Russian for Heroes 3.
Could you please explain how the Cyclops' ability to destroy castle defensive walls works? (For example, a regular Cyclops has the "Basic Ballistics" starting skill, an improved one has "Advanced Ballistics," etc.). And does the number of Cyclops in a stack affect this?
Cyclops, like a catapult, can bombard castle walls with stones. Regular Cyclops deal damage equivalent to Basic Ballistics. They have 16 shots in reserve. Cyclops Kings deal damage equivalent to Advanced Ballistics. They have 24 shots in reserve.
Each stack deals damage to the enemy's walls, regardless of the number of units in the stack.
Do not confuse this with damage to the enemy army! In this case, the damage dealt to the enemy depends on the number of Cyclops in the stack. The presence or absence of the "Ballistics" secondary skill in the hero does not affect the abilities of these units.
