RTF is a global modification that replaces all towns in the game.

Here's an archive with the files; would you like to take a look yourself? P.S. The image shows the "data" in Blender that were present in the disappearing objects but absent in the non-disappearing ones... what a mess. I deleted them, and everything became visible... it's possible this was information about the marked edges during editing, but I'm not sure.
