And despite the fact that the primary heroes had no lizardmen: between the two of us we had 25 gnolls and 5 basilisks; and there were no lizardmen in the dungeon garrison, by the first week I built hydras, 1000, the Stronghold, and bought almost all the troops. Monere ran around clearing the respawn of monsters, looting resource storages and crypts, while the rest gathered resources and brought troops as construction progressed, plus 2 gnoll hives and 1 lizardmen hutch. At the end of week 2, Monere was going to pick up a 3rd secondary hero and spotted Shakti. Intoxicated by my successes in previous battles on my native swamps, I attacked the miner on foreign territory — that was a fatal mistake((( .
