Beata signs both paintings on the back of the canvas in the corner – “With love and respect!” She writes two names, hers and Gion’s (his – additionally and modestly, she wanted to write it as if he were an equal co-author, but he refused outright). The signatures are small and unobtrusive, but if the recipient wants to know who the painting is from, they will find out.
For Ayano, she writes a separate note: “Gion told me everything. Thank you, Your Highness.”

The couple says goodbye and goes to check out the program.
