Strange. It's fresh like a lager, chocolatey like a stout, and has a slight sourness like a Flanders. I wouldn't say it's bad, but I wouldn't have a second glass.

Mechanical. There's a bit of smoke, but the blended grain flavor is too strong. It actually resembles bourbon. It's drinkable, but it's not worth the price. Maybe you could use it in cocktails. The black bottle remains the only decent blend, and instead of this, it's better to have a gin or vodka with a good snack.

Actually, I spoke too soon. After letting it breathe, it became very pleasant, smoky, and almost without the harsh grain flavor, resembling a very young single malt ale. It's worth buying on sale.

Good, semi-sweet, fragrant, the alcohol content is right, it's a bit weak in terms of flavor intensity, but maybe that's for the better, it's easy to drink.

It reminds me a bit of lambic and Flemish ales, astringent, dense, slightly bitter, berry-like, and pleasantly overwhelming, like eating blackcurrant jam mixed with dark, bitter honey. I liked Angelica even more among the strong ones, but this is also very good.
