Basics of Summoning Dampening
When an opponent uses spells from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd circles of Summoning magic, their mastery of Summoning magic decreases by one level (expert skill becomes proficient, proficient becomes novice, novice disappears). If the opponent does not have a skill in Summoning magic, their Magic skill is reduced by 25% when calculating the effect of spells.
Proficient Summoning Dampening
When an opponent uses spells from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd circles of Summoning magic, their mastery of Summoning magic decreases by two levels (expert skill becomes novice, etc.). When an opponent uses spells from the 4th circle of Summoning magic, their mastery decreases by one level. If a spell is cast at the "minus one" level of mastery, the Magic skill is reduced by 25% when calculating the effect; if at the "minus two" level, the Magic skill is reduced by 50%.
Expert Summoning Dampening
When an opponent uses spells from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd circles of Summoning magic, their mastery of Summoning magic decreases by two levels (expert skill becomes novice, etc.). When an opponent uses spells from the 4th and 5th circles of Summoning magic, their mastery decreases by one level. If a spell is cast at the "minus one" level of mastery, the Magic skill is reduced by 25% when calculating the effect; if at the "minus two" level, the Magic skill is reduced by 50%.
