Dreams.

I even had a dream about this before, where I found some awesome loot (I don't remember what exactly) and was upset when I woke up, even irritated (it was a dream within a dream, if that makes sense). And maybe my brother woke me up, because I remember making a sudden hand movement towards his head and hitting him. Judging by the reaction, it must have hurt, because he retaliated, but not in a normal way. He grabbed my head and started messing with my visual settings, like on some kind of monitor, camera, or other device. That is, I see sliders at the bottom of my field of vision that he's scrolling through (I don't know how), and I remember the sharpness decreasing in my eyes, the brightness increasing, and so on. At that moment, I was trying to remember their original positions so that I could adjust them back later. I started doing that, again, I don't remember how, but most likely I had something like a knob or switch near my temple or ear, like on old TVs. In the end, I managed to adjust it. That's the kind of weird thing it was.
The dream reminded me of a time from my childhood when I thought I could be a robot. And now, I guess they'll soon make implants that will not only control brightness and sharpness, but also zoom and all sorts of thermal vision.
