Got a good respawn, rich in gold, and fought off all the resource packs. First week griffins in the castle, second week dragons. Headed to the neighboring respawn, a Dungeon, but the Miner had already been there. I return, pick up the scouted Griffin Conservatory (3), run to a small treasury, took two Pandora's Boxes for experience and two artifacts for attack and knowledge. I double my mana and am just standing in front of the underground passage to the enemy, waiting for reinforcements. But the enemy decided not to drag it out and attacked himself.

The advantage in raw power was significant, and the underground monster was trampled by griffins, burned by dragons, and shot down by elves.
