RTF is a global modification that replaces all towns in the game.

the mages will be the only good human faction on the mainland; high-level units will be in the style of the scholars from DoC, and it's unclear who will be at the lower levels – perhaps nomads, perhaps mercenary gnolls. If the orc faction is removed, then orcs will be gone.

I can't really say anything about the other factions because I don't know what will happen in the end; only with the Dungeon faction is everything clear – there are elf statues everywhere, so there will be elves.
