The location itself is atmospheric, yes. The other Thorms, besides the ones that appear later in the game, are as colorful as bosses... but it's funny that Ketheric never mentions them anywhere. The later characters are the same. As a result, it turns out to be somewhat comical.

As far as I understand, to make the playthrough as harmless as possible, you need to save-load after every dice roll, and even then, there will be unpleasant moments that are unavoidable no matter how hard you try. But still, kudos to them for at least trying.
SPOILERThere are moments that are inevitable, yes, but in the third act, there will be an opportunity to cleanse yourself of Baal's essence if you diligently reject him.
