In Heroes 3, you can't just easily complete the Utopia map with dragons.

The masters of EBUS-cross do it in the second week, or even the first. And everything else is just tedious.
But you're exaggerating about the 8 hours. Skilled players spend weeks creating a character, and then they restart the game every few hours, as is well known.
