Yeah, it does sound bad. Who even plays with pre-made characters? I think the percentage of players who do that is small. Maybe mostly beginners who don't know how to create their own and just take what's available. Although, usually beginners choose fighters, and there aren't many male characters like that (I'm not counting the lizardman). That leaves only replaying the game, which is kind of boring.
