Which ICQ client did you choose?

Qip is better! It's much more convenient, there's no advertising, and it runs smoother. It also has a lot of emoticons and statuses. The only downside is that the window with the nickname of the person who logged in doesn't pop up. In my opinion, I really liked that feature. True, Qip crashes more often than ICQ, at least for me. But still, it's better! Regarding Mail Agent... many of them are infected with viruses, so be careful.
