The thing is, I don't doubt it anymore, especially since so many people are saying the same thing. But the fact is that back in the day, when I was just starting to play this game, I managed to clear a treasure chamber and realized that I didn't have enough skill level for the castle I received. Since then, I've always visited these treasure chambers and other gatherings of monsters only after I've reached a sufficient skill level. I'm serious... that's how I've always played.
