For 14 years now, our beloved game, Heroes of Might and Magic 5, has existed. And all this time, every New Year, when we open the game, we haven't seen anything unusual, festive, or anything that would evoke a holiday atmosphere... It's time to fill this gap. We are releasing a New Year mod that will finally add a festive atmosphere to the game! The mod is primarily intended for multiplayer. And no matter what year it is outside your window – 2022, 2031 – I still congratulate you on the New Year and wish you happiness, good luck, and success!

List of changes

• The models, icons, and descriptions of all resources have been changed.

• The hero of the Northern Clans, Inga, has been replaced with Santa Claus.

• The models of the Stable and the Idol have been changed.

• The descriptions of the Stable, the Shrine, the Factory, and the Idol have been changed.

• The entire interface has been completely changed in a new festive style.

• Music and a congratulatory map have been added.

Compatibility:
For now, I recommend installing it on a clean version of the game, but with a high probability, the mod is compatible with: the mod for the Necro button, the Rage button; the mod for the visual of artifacts; new backgrounds for the hiring window.

Installation: Unzip the archive; place the file /Video/1_new.h5m in the maps folder of your game, and place the 2 ogg files – JingleBells and Music – in the music folder of your game. Place UI.pak in the data folder. The downloaded map is a congratulatory video that is recommended to be launched in single-player mode. After viewing, you can delete it.

Removal: Delete all downloaded files from the folders.
