- Once, I told a guy who brought up this topic that any woman, as a rule, would rate herself a 10 if asked such a question. If you feel like a woman, then that's how it is, and there are no gray areas here. As for me, I don't believe in any scales; it's too subjective and contrived. Men have all sorts of nonsense going on in their heads: some will rate one appearance a 10, and others will rate the same appearance a 5. And as for personal charm in communication – if there's a desire, you'll please anyone, and if there isn't, you won't please them no matter how hard you try. To reduce something as complex as self-perception in the entire spectrum of aspects to a single number on a scale is a futile exercise. But, I still wish you luck in your research. Maybe you'll get some numbers out of it.
