Okay. There are... 2 contenders.
1) Sky Falcor (the "Dictator" book series, I already gave the link to Drakia) – a dragon who ended up in a world similar to Krynn, having come from the prosperous Drakia, which knows neither wars nor dragon hunts... and managed to preserve himself. The first (and only, besides Dusk on that planet) Dictator (intelligent, with the power to change probabilities). The first Emperor of Drakia. I like him... for his humanity (although the word doesn't quite fit...).
2) Terry Pratchett's heroes (specifically – Rincewind (!!!) and Death (!!! !!! !!!)).

Oh, and there's also a pile of relatively minor characters – Geralt from Arzamas-16 ("The Witcher of Greater Kyiv"), both Garretts (the thief and the detective), Juffin Halli ("Labyrinths of Echo").
