Coming up with a message turned out to be more difficult than imagining how "Carneol," as a group, would visit the Patriarch and present various gifts. "You won't benefit anyone" and "your existence here is in vain," despite being allowed to live. A very mixed message, implying the sincerity of these words. Still, the last piece of advice was "live for the good of Anuzish," a small spark of hope.
Of course, this hypothetical skepticism towards her didn't really matter – Alaria herself perfectly understood that nothing here was in vain. Klin values her. "Carneol" values her. She helped destroy Valis. She helped stop Beznyadiga. And what His Eminence said... well, he's entitled to be wrong, if that's what he really thought. The warrior didn't hold any grudges against him for that, especially considering his good deeds. After all, they are all people, and in her native Tanaris, she heard much worse things said about her. The difficulty in writing the message wasn't due to any abstract grievances, but rather to their brief acquaintance.
On the other hand, is all of this really that important? Yes, they only met once, but gratitude doesn't disappear because of that. There's nothing shameful about expressing it. About wishing someone well. Perhaps, on the contrary, it will be a pleasant surprise. And there's no need to overcomplicate things; a few warm words should be enough. The main thing is to convey the emotions, it's not a storytelling contest. Having decided on this, the girl handed Erephir a note written in neat handwriting:
