The latest expansion pack has been released. Now, certain things are clear.
Now, about the most pressing issues:
1) A new magic spell has been added. But why so few! This is unacceptable. And by the way, how was it added? Now there's an imbalance in the magic spells; for example, the magic of Darkness and Chaos has three spells of level 5, while the others have only two. Do they think that Vampirism and Regeneration are equal? The number of spells should be the same, both in level and quantity.
2) New heroes. Why are they only in the Campaigns? Couldn't they have added at least two to the single-player and multiplayer modes (it wouldn't have taken much time to draw a portrait and come up with a specialization).
3) Sound. They removed the unit's spells:smile12:. But the voice acting in the campaign is so quiet... we hope for a patch:smile41:.
4) Neutral monsters. No new ones were added, and I would have liked that.
5) Objects on the map. There are few varieties of trees (especially for the Orcs), and mountains (there were so many in the 4th game). The Keymaster's outpost is missing, and it doesn't disappear after you pass it.
Conclusion: despite all this (and these are minor, albeit annoying, issues), Tribes of the East is a great game. Simply superb!
