Even during Nostro's lifetime, his "Black Fang" comrades played tricks on him. Once, in a drunken stupor, he lost his nose in a card game and was deprived of it. Mortally wounded, and once again cursing that ill-fated game, he vowed to take revenge on the cheaters even after death. Since then, Nostro's spirit has been cutting off the noses of his enemies in the hope of finding that very nose and finding peace.
