Won't you do any of these things? The question is half-rhetorical – I believe you won't, but honestly, the frightening talk about these matters makes me imagine all sorts of things. You yourself said that my sense of self-preservation is suffering, and given the number of situations I've found myself in lately, you might be right, and I should approach such questions more carefully.
